Susanna Paasonen
Susanna Paasonen is a professor and chair of Media Studies as well as the deputy director of the School of History, Culture and Art Studies at the University of Turku located in southwest Finland. After completing her PhD at the University of Turku in 2002, Paasonen lectured Media Culture courses at the University of Tampere in Finland and became a postdoctoral researcher focusing on Gender Studies at the University of Turku. Paasonen's primary research interests include internet research, popular culture, sexuality, pornography and theories of affect.
