Donna J. Haraway
Haraway is perhaps best known for her essays and books covering the relationship between science, technology and feminism such as Simians, Cyborgs and Women(1991) and Situated Knowledges: The Science Question in Feminism and the Privilege of Partial Perspective (1988). In 1970 she completed her Ph.D. in biology at Yale and has previously taught Women's Studies and History of Science courses at the University of Hawaii and Johns Hopkins University. Currently, Haraway works at the University of California as a Distinguished Professor in the departments of Consciousness and Feminist Studies.
